Osmoflo is increasing the workforce at its outer Adelaide design and fabrication facility following confirmation of some $11 million worth of new contracts in the last two months of the 2009 financial year.
These contracts involve the provision of systems that will include advanced desalination technology for treated water of process and potable quality and were won against significant international competition.
"Osmoflo's breadth of experience, our capability to access a range of technologies enabling us to select the most efficient system on a project by project basis, speed of delivery, plus the fact that Osmoflo has invested in the largest dedicated desalination fabrication facility in the southern hemisphere all combine to give this company a competitive edge," commented Osmoflo's spokeperson, Phil Endley.
Osmoflo will manage project design and construction for each of the new contracts and will also offer on-going operations and maintenance support.
Osmoflo is Australia's largest locally owned desalination company and has supplied around 273 custom designed plants to domestic and overseas markets. The company offers its clients flexible contract options, including Build Own Operate, Self Finance and whole of life Operations and Maintenance plus around the clock monitoring and operation through its proprietary PlantConnect® remote control system.
