Chana Power Station - Thailand
Chana Power Station is owned by the Electricity Generation Authority of Thailand. Osmoflo is building a demineralisation system to treat water for the new Block 2 power plant project. Marubeni is a joint partner with Siemens in its construction.
Chevron - Gorgon LNG Project
Osmoflo won 5 desalination projects for the Gorgon, Barrow Island LNG processing plant. Three plants have been delivered, with water flowing for construction and potable uses.
Currently in the build and testing phases are two permanent plants; a 2.1 ML/day sea water reverse osmosis plant and a 1 ML/day demineralisation plant. Total water delivery is 7.5 ML/day.
Chevron - Wheatstone LNG
Progress of the 11,200 kL/day compaction construction and village desalination plants are in various stages of design and construction, with the rental plant delivered and being commissioned.
Osmoflo is constructing the plant in modules at its fabrication facility in Adelaide, prior to transportation to the Western Australian site.
Inpex Ichthys power station water
Osmoflo is in the construction phase of delivering a demineralisation (electrodeionisation) plantwhich will supply process water to a new power station in Darwin, part of an onshore based facility that will process gas from wells associated with this LNG project.
The water treatment plant is due for commissioning in the first quater of 2014.
Nyrstar - Port Pirie Smelter
Providing an additional water source and environmental benefits to the community, this water treatment plant reuses industrial process waste water on-site to produce 1.6 ML/day of desalinated water for process use, as well as use by the Port Pirie Council for irrigation purposes.
This initiative saves the equivalent of 235 Olympic size swimming pools of water being taken from the River Murray.
The project is currently in the commissioning stages.
Osmoflo has designed, and is now in the construction stage of two portable Ultrafiltration plants to filter mine drainage water for suitability for processing through reinjection units. They will have a high recovery rate of 90%.
