Osmoflo is in the construction phase of delivering a demineralisation (electrodeionisation) plantwhich will supply process water to a new power station in Darwin, part of an onshore based facility that will process gas from wells associated with this LNG project.
The water treatment plant is due for commissioning in the first quater of 2014.
Osmoflo won 5 desalination projects for the Gorgon, Barrow Island LNG processing plant. Three plants have been delivered, with water flowing for construction and potable uses.
Currently in the build and testing phases are two permanent plants; a 2.1 ML/day sea water reverse osmosis plant and a 1 ML/day demineralisation plant. Total water delivery is 7.5 ML/day.
Progress of the 11,200 kL/day compaction construction and village desalination plants are in various stages of design and construction, with the rental plant delivered and being commissioned.
Osmoflo is constructing the plant in modules at its fabrication facility in Adelaide, prior to transportation to the Western Australian site.
Osmoflo was awarded the contract for a new wastewater treatment plant by Rio Tinto which is located in Wickham, approximately 50km’s west of Karratha in Western Australia.
Osmoflo are undertaking process design and delivery of an advanced membrane based ultrafiltration system including chemical dosing, chlorination and other mechanical equipment. Site installation and civil works associated with the project and commission will also be undertaken by Osmoflo.
A containerised sodium hypochlorite dosing system has been secured as a rental project for Bechtel Haypoint, located in Queensland.
The rental plant is being used to chlorinate dam water feeding into the fire water main on site.
ACWA Power Barka awarded the EPC Contract to Osmoflo to provide a 56,775m3/d (12.5MIGD) seawater reverse osmosis plant.
The plant is located 50km North West of Muscat, located in addressing the increasing water demands of the region.
