Drinking Water

Osmoflo has a track record in desalination stretching over 18 years. Prior to the commissioning of Australia's first major desalination plant in Perth, Osmoflo  supplied the five largest Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) plants in Australia. We also delivered South Australia's second seawater desalination plant producing potable water at Marion Bay on the Yorke Peninsula. We provide water security for inland or remote communities located in regions where rainfall is unreliable or where surface water or underground water quality is poor using Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) technologies.

High recovery system for remote community

Residents of Yalgoo, a remote community located 200km east of Geralton in Western Australia rely on brackish ground water drawn from bores for all their water requirements. Treatment is required to make this safe for potable use. The Water Corporation contracted Osmoflo to supply a 300kL/d reverse osmosis plant featuring high recovery technology that enables 90% of intake water to be utilised. The plant is equipped with Osmoflo's proprietary PlantConnect, around the clock remote monitoring and control software. Service support is provided from Osmoflo's Perth office.
